HOMESTUCK

Softly
Dave stared down and smiled when she suddenly said something. If he had listened well enough, he would have gotten a mix of apparently troll language and affectionate mutters. He wondered what she could be dreaming about, while stroking her hair. Tenderly, trying not to wake her up. She was a bit heavy but his shoulder didn't mind. Of course not. He enjoyed having her around when her desires of resting were strong. His smile sadenned a bit.
Who was she thinking of? Not him, at least. He believed that, even if he didn't want to.
She curled up and pushed her head farther into him. Dave smiled again.

Even if she wasn't thinking about him, and even if she was his sister, she was still there.
With him.

Walls Covered in Blood
Terezi laughed, along with an embarrassed giggle coming from Nepeta.
"Dave and Tavros... An insufferable, uncommunicative and loud prick and a Troll. Purrfect Match, Nepeta!"
She giggled again. Terezi agreed with her, and that was pawsitively purrfect with the situation. Shipping wars between friends were no joke. Terezi took the red chalk and gave it a lick.
Nepeta purred. "Aaaaaand, who would you ship yourself with? Heehee." Terezi thought for a moment. "Take Karkles out of the list." Nepeta stared at her. "Oh? Why?", "No real reason. What about you?" She thought again, while attempting to nible on a Green Chalk. Terezi made it look like it was Delicious. She hissed a the flavour. "Hmmmmm... take Karkitty out of the list!" She laughed and remembered the stupid crush they both had had on him on a certain occassion. "Oh, and why would that be, Pouncellor?" She licked her paws and took a Paintbrush with some dark red blood on. "I know who would be purrfect for us!" The mighty dragon Terezi gasped. "Who?"

She drew her and Terezi, and circled it with a heart, laughing. She stared at it. "Oh?" She smirked.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Heehee."
Terezi wrapped an arm around her neck and pulled her close, their cheeks rubbing together while giggling and muttering nonsense, probaby dumb puns.

"But I'm not." Terezi said.

Crystalanthology
Vriska laid there, half smirking at her, her hands stroking the side of her face.
"You are a truly despicable bitch, killing me off like that. Who do you think you are?"
"I could say the same for you." Aradia leaned over, while sitting on top of her, resting her arms around her head when their noses touched. "Wasn't it obvious?" She asked. "Yeah, it was. Too bad I was not aware."
She stayed silent, while Vriska began pushing her face closer.
"Wasn't this what you wanted to begin with?" Aradia looked down and shaked her head, avoiding her lips.
"Mhm. But I don't want to anymore. I have to go back." Vriska muttered between teeth. "Tsk."

She grabbed her hair and pulled it, Aradia giving a groan and standing still.
"Where?" She gritted her teeth in pain and looked down, trying not to cry. She pushed herself up with one of her hands and let go of her hair. Aradia laid her forehead on hers and ran a finger through Vriska's hair.
"You truly are an idiot. You knew it was going to happen, didn't you?" She didn't kiss her.
"Do you always spoil the fun like that? It's annoying." She did instead.
But before she tried to bite her, Aradia pulled away.

"Pay for your actions." She said, dissapearing onto reality and the Alpha timeline, leaving a red dust trail, a red shade on Vriska's lips, and a requited want unfulfilled.

TOUHOU

Voyager 1969
Eirin, can you let the smoke in just for a bit?

Oriental Evening Sky
Suika, have you ever seen it? How happy humans look when they get married. There's sake, delicious food and beautiful dresses. It's not that much different from here. They call it "Heaven" as well. There's lots of people, wishes and lasting memories. I would like to do that someday. I've gotten rid of all my desires and have fallen into a cronical boredom. If I ever get married, would I be expelled from Heaven? Hey Suika, I would like to stay with you like that. I can't say it and I will probably never do, but I want to.
When you asked me to keep you away from the others I did so. And our time together was enjoyable, so why did you leave? I still see you down there, with the Shrine Maiden and the strange Boundary Youkai.

When I go to visit, I can see you look at me, too. The party was fun but when you left it was like any other meeting. Boring. Fake. I know you didn't want to go because you told me so. Because when I leave, things get boring and fake as well. So why don't we stay together like that?
When you told me about it, I denied. I said that I don't want to be with you, and that you are an awful person.
But you are not, I was lying.

So before you leave me alone here once again, I would like to tell all of this to you.
And forever, talk about things I see every day. Even if I am a bit Stubborn at times.
But as long as I'm talking with you, everything is fine.

Reach for the Moon, Immortal Smoke
"Teacher, why doesn't the smoke still reach the moon?" A young villager asked Miss Keine, as she narrated the tale of the Hourai Elixir.
Keine laughed and looked to the side, where Mokou smiled from the window.
"Mokou, would you like to answer that?" The class redirected their attention at the Fujiwara Girl.
"Uhh. Well okay." She took a gasp of air. "You see, there is no actual way for the Smoke to reach the moon, considering the place where it stands." She looked to the side. "Or, stays in place. Anyway, that would be the realistic explanation." She stared at the kid, awaiting approvation. "Hmmm... and the other reason?" Mokou waited for a second and sighed. "There is another reason." Keine looked at her in surprise. Was there? "Mhm, yeah, there is a being that stops the moon from being reached. It's like a smaller moon that is constantly circling it, and stops the smoke from ever touching its surface. The smoke and the moon have had a bad relationship, for the last centuries, and that being thinks they're still angry at each other.

The kid frowned. "Why doesn't the Smoke just go around it?" Mokou leaned her head on her hands and kept on talking. "Because - she's not brave enough to do that."
When I get bored, this happens.
